21 Blocks spoken word and hip hop

The objective of this program is to guide the youth in finding their unique voice and express their anger, fear, joy, and triumph through the spoken word. We also examine pieces of poetry and hip hop as a means of discovering technique. FAN blends the Chicago Writes curriculum along with our own to ground the program in proven, practical strategy.
